Sun Country Announces Record-Breaking March St. Paul, MN – April 6, 2006 Sun Country Airlines announced today that it exceeded forecasted passenger expectations during the month of March, including setting and breaking company records the last three Fridays of the month. “I am extremely proud of our accomplishments,” said Sun Country CEO Shaun Nugent. “Our employees are the heart and soul of this airline, and the record number of passengers that flew with us is a testament to their hard work and dedication.” Sun Country established a new record for the number of passengers served in one day on Friday, March 17th. The airline broke that new record on Friday, March 24th, and again on Friday, March 31st. In total, the airline served 205,662 passengers at the Humphrey Terminal in Minneapolis in March, up 4% from the same period last year and 34% from the same period in 2004. “Our growth not only demonstrates the consumer acceptance of our product offering but allows us to add new destinations to our schedule to better serve our passengers,” said Nugent. The airline has added seasonal service to Washington, DC (Dulles) beginning May 22nd, 2006. Sun Country Airlines is a low cost, low fare carrier based in St. Paul, MN.
