Sun Country Airlines Will Add Two New Boeing 737-800’s to Their Fleet

St. Paul, MN – April 2, 2007

Sun Country Airlines announced today that the airline has completed negotiations for the delivery of two new Boeing 737-800’s next generation aircrafts. The new planes will arrive July/August of 2007 and will feature Sun Country’s signature two-class cabin configuration with large leather seating and modern technical and safety equipment.

“Our new aircraft symbolize the continued expansion of our highly reliable 737-800 fleet,” said Shaun Nugent, CEO of Sun Country. “They are a key component to our business plan and our noticeably different airline experience.”

Sun Country’s new 737-800’s are the most fuel efficient aircraft in their class. “We consider them to be the most environmentally friendly planes in the sky” said T.J. Horsager, Flight Operations Engineer for Sun Country Airlines.

Sun Country Airlines is a low cost, point-to-point carrier based in St. Paul, MN and was recently acquired by Petters Group Worldwide and Whitebox Advisors. The airline was named to the top 10 lists of domestic airlines in Travel+Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler.
