Tampa Giveaway Terms and Conditions
*No purchase necessary. Must be at least 18 years old to qualify. Each Sun Country Airlines’ “Feel the Sand Between Your Toes Giveaway” prize includes two (2) travel certificates, each valid for one (1) roundtrip ticket on Sun Country Airlines from Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN to Tampa, FL. Valid in coach class only. Trip must be taken between service dates of December 20, 2012 through April 7, 2013. All submissions must be made by November 13 at 11:59pm CT to qualify. There will be two total winners. The first winner will be announced on “The WCCO Morning News with Dave Lee” on November 6, 2012, and will also be contacted by Sun Country Airlines. The second winner will be announced on “The WCCO Morning News with Dave Lee” on November 14, 2012 and will also be contacted by Sun Country Airlines. Additional taxes and fees apply, including but not limited to: the Federal segment tax of $3.80 per U. S. Domestic flight segment, defined as one take-off and landing; up to $18 per roundtrip local airport passenger facility charges and September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per U. S. Enplanement, up to $5 per one way or $10 per roundtrip are extra. Blackout dates apply. Travel is based on availability. Schedules are subject to change. Travel certificates are not retroactive and cannot be applied to previously purchased tickets. Reservations must be booked through Sun Country Airlines - Guest Services. No credit will be issued if booked through other sources. Certificate is transferable only upon the expressed approval of Sun Country Airlines; cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be used for barter. Certificate cannot be resold on eBay, Craigslist and other entities of the like. Travel must be completed at one time (i.e., cannot separate/split certificate). Original certificates only will be accepted for complimentary travel. Allow 14 days for processing. A $75.00 change fees applies for changes made to your reservation. Travel certificate is non-commissionable. Travel certificates are not valid with any other promotions or for Sun Country Vacations packages. Winner will be responsible for all hotel accommodations ground transportation, gratuities, meals, bag fees, seat fees, and any other incidental costs or expenses not identified in these rules. In the case of no-show all monies are forfeited and not returned to the passenger. No ticket credit remains. If a winner and/or his/her guest miss the initial flight as scheduled, the winner will forfeit the prize. If the winner and/or his/her guest is not present for the designated return flight, he/she is solely responsible for his/her return to Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. This contest is subject to all applicable policies, practices and procedures of Sun Country Airlines. Limit one (1) prize per household/address.
**Displayed fare is inclusive of all government taxes and fees. Stated one-way Tampa, Florida fare is good for travel into or out of Minneapolis/St. Paul on non-stop flights only. Travel must be completed during the following period of time: December 20, 2012 through February 14, 2013. No blackout dates apply. Stated fares must be purchased by 11:59PM CT (Central Time) on November 30, 2012. No advance purchase necessary. Stated fares for select destinations are subject to availability and may not be available on all flights. Fares may sell out quickly.
Stated fares are not retroactive and cannot be applied to previously purchased tickets. No credits or price adjustments can be made if the fare has changed after the ticket has been purchased. Seats are limited; space may not be available on all flights. Schedules are subject to change. Tickets are nonrefundable, but can be changed for a $75 change fee plus the difference to the new fare. Names can be changed for a $75 per ticket fee. Reservations must be cancelled prior to the flight departure time in order to retain the value of the ticket for one year from the date of purchase. In the case of no-show all monies are forfeited and not returned to the passenger, no ticket credit remains.
Checked baggage can be pre-paid anytime from purchase of ticket up to one hour before domestic flights with the exception of two hours for Miami. Checked baggage may can be prepaid up to 24 hours on international flights. Passengers may save money by checking their first bag for $20 each way and check a second bag for $30 each way online or through Reservations, or pay $25 each way for the first bag and a second bag fee of $35 each way if paid for at the airport; each bag is not to exceed 62 linear inches (length plus width plus height) or 50 pounds. Additional bags, as well as bags over 62 linear inches or 50 pounds, are subject to excess baggage fees of $75 each additional piece of excess baggage.
Our carry-on policy provides each ticketed passenger the following allowance at no additional charge: One (1) carry-on bag which may not exceed any of the following dimensions: 22” long x 14” wide x 9” tall (including wheels, handles, or any other protruding items), and may not exceed 35 pounds in weight. Passengers may also carry: One (1) smaller personal item (e.g., purse, laptop, etc.) which may not exceed any of the following dimensions: 16” long x 11’’ wide x 8” tall.
