FORT MYERS, Fla. (Feb. 5, 2016) – The Lee County Port Authority is pleased to announce that Sun Country Airlines® will expand nonstop service between Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and San Juan Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in Puerto Rico from two to three weekly flights beginning May 2, 2016. In response to passenger demand, Sun Country will now service three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
"I am very pleased Sun Country Airlines will increase service to San Juan, Puerto Rico in time for the busy summer travel period," said Robert M. Ball, A.A.E., executive director of the Lee County Port Authority. "By offering three weekly flights, travelers can enjoy more options to fly between Southwest Florida and Puerto Rico."
