What is Ufly Rewards?
Ufly Rewards is Sun Country's loyalty program unlike any other in the airline industry. Ideal for every for every type of traveler, members have the option to redeem some or all of their points for travel and Ufly Rewards allows members to pool points with up to nine other members so members accumulate points faster and travel sooner. Ufly Rewards members earn points for every dollar spent with Sun Country Airlines purchases and redeeming those points is flexible and easy.

Do I earn points on my vacation purchase?
Yes! Ufly Rewards members earn 10 points for each $1 spent on any Sun Country purchase including vacation packages, upgrades, seat fees, bag fees, tickets, etc. For package purchases with more than one Ufly Rewards member on the reservation, points will be awarded to each passenger who is a Ufly Rewards member. To calculate how many points each Ufly Rewards member earns, divide the total points earned on the package purchase by the number of passengers on the reservation. For example, a $2,400 vacation package with 4 passengers on the reservation would look like this: $2,400 total purchase price x 10 points per dollar = 24,000 points earned; divide 24,000 points by 4 passengers = 6,000 points; each Ufly Rewards member on the reservation is eligible to earn 6,000 points.
The member’s Ufly Rewards number wasn’t entered during the booking process. Is there a way to get point credit for a flight that has already been completed?
Yes. Online point credit requests are temporarily unavailable. You can call a Ufly Rewards Specialist to request credit for points within 90 days of the flight or vacation. In the case of missing points from Ufly Rewards Partners, it is the member's responsibility to contact the Partner for instructions on how to request missing points and to verify qualifying purchase(s) and transmittal of points to Sun Country Airlines. If the booked travel has not yet occurred, log in to My Trips and update the reservation with the Ufly Rewards member number prior to traveling or call Ufly Rewards.
How many points are earned for each trip on Sun Country?
Earn 10 points for every dollar spent on qualifying Sun Country Airlines purchases and some qualifying partner purchases. Please note, upgrade purchases made at the airport are eligible. Onboard purchases are not eligible. Points earned on partner purchases may vary. See specific partner offers for details. Points will be awarded according to this earning structure for travel on and after July 1, 2016.
When will I receive the points I earn?
Points earned on all qualifying Sun Country purchases goes into effect for travel on and after July 1, 2016. Please allow up to 14 days after travel for points to be deposited into your account.
How are points calculated and awarded if there are multiple people on the reservation?
Total points earned by each traveler on a reservation will be calculated by dividing the total points earned on the reservation by the number of travelers on the reservation, and then awarding an equal amount of points to each Ufly Rewards member who has his/her member number entered on the reservation.
Are there bonus point promotions?
Yes. Opportunities to earn bonus points will be available from time to time. Be sure to sign up to receive our emails to get the latest updates on low fares and bonus point promotions.
Do points expire?
Points will not expire as long as the member earns or redeems Ufly Rewards points at least once every three years. Qualifying earn and redeem activities include:
- Earning points on eligible Sun Country Airlines purchases
- Earning points on purchases made with a Sun Country Airlines® Signature Visa® card
- Earning points on qualifying Ufly Rewards car rental partner purchases (member’s Ufly Rewards number must be included on the rental reservation in order to qualify)
- Redeeming points on Sun Country Airlines travel
- Donating points
How are points earned in the Ufly Rewards program?
Points may be earned in the following ways:
- Earn 10 points for each $1 spent on Sun Country Airlines purchases (First Class upgrade purchases at the airport are eligible. Other airport or onboard purchases are not eligible.) Note: points will be awarded according to this earning structure for travel on and after July, 2016.
- Earn points on purchases with your Sun Country Airlines® Signature Visa® card
- 2 points per $1 spent on Sun Country Airlines purchases
- 1 point per $1 spent everywhere else
- Earn points on eligible purchases with Ufly Rewards partners
How else can Sun Country Ufly Rewards points be accrued?
Members can join a pool and share points among members, or take advantage of bonus point promotions and eligible purchases with Ufly Rewards partners.
How many points does it take to redeem for a ticket?
Ufly Rewards points can be redeemed for a checked bag fee, a ticket, an entire trip or any Sun Country purchase in between. The amount of points will vary depending upon the purchase price of the trip. To calculate how many points are needed to redeem for a purchase, multiply the conversion rate of 110 x the price of the trip during ‘off peak periods’ and multiply the conversion rate of 130 x the price of the trip during ‘peak’ periods. See peak and off peak periods. By way of example: 33,000 points are needed to redeem for a $300 ticket (110 x $300 = 33,000) during off peak periods..
How do I redeem my points?
First, log in at suncountry.com with your Ufly Rewards account information. Then, start shopping! Ufly Rewards members may use as few or as many points as desired to purchase travel. At the end of the checkout process, you will be prompted to choose a form of payment. Payment can be points only, dollars only or a combination of points and dollars. If some points are redeemed and a dollar balance remains, the system will allow you to complete the purchase with a credit card. It is possible to change the amount of points before finalizing the purchase. Simply follow the prompts to change the amount and recalculate prior to finalizing the purchase. Please note: if points are redeemed in the initial reservation, then points cannot be redeemed at any other point in the reservation prior to travel.
Can points be used to reduce the price of the ticket?
Yes. Ufly Rewards members can redeem points for nearly any Sun Country purchase, including flights, vacation packages, First Class upgrades, seat assignments, bag fees, etc. Points are redeemed as a form of payment, allowing members to purchase their travel with points only or a combination of points and dollars. Redemption rates vary based on seasonality and can be found in the Ufly Rewards Program section. Seat and bag fees may be paid with points on new reservations only.
Can I combine my points with dollars to purchase a ticket?
Yes! Ufly Rewards members may use as few or as many points as desired to purchase travel. Members can redeem any amount of points at the end of the checkout process, so hang in until the very end of the transaction to use points! If a dollar balance remains, the system will prompt you to complete the purchase with a credit card once an amount of points is selected for redemption. It is possible to change the amount of points before finalizing the purchase. Simply follow the prompts to change the amount and recalculate prior to finalizing the purchase. Please note: if points are redeemed in the initial reservation, then points cannot be redeemed at any other point in the reservation prior to travel.
How are points redeemed for travel on Sun Country?
Ufly Rewards points may be redeemed for travel by the Ufly Rewards member at suncountry.com. The option to redeem some or all of a member’s points will be available on the payment page. Members can also redeem points by calling Reservations. Seat and bag fees may be paid with points on new reservations only made on or after May 29, 2016.
Can points be redeemed for a First Class upgrade on a flight?
Yes. Points may be redeemed for a First Class upgrade if done online or via Reservations, within 24 hours of departure for flights within the U.S. Note: If points are redeemed in the initial reservation, then points cannot be redeemed at any other point in the reservation (e.g., points cannot be redeemed for a First Class upgrade within 24 hours of a flight).
Can points be redeemed for a First Class upgrade at the airport or onboard?
No. However, points may be redeemed for a First Class upgrade within 24 hours of departure for flights within the U.S. by logging into My Trips or by calling Reservations. Note: First Class upgrades using Ufly Rewards points are not available for International flights.
How are points redeemed for a First Class upgrade?
Redeeming points for an upgrade may be done for flights within the U.S., within 24 hours of the flight by logging in to the members Ufly Rewards account and then either:
- Check-in online and follow the redemption prompts
- Call Reservations
Note: Points may not be redeemed for upgrades at the airport. If points were redeemed for the initial reservation, then points cannot be redeemed at any other point in the reservation prior to travel (e.g., members are not able to redeem points for a pre-departure upgrade).
How many points are needed to earn a travel award?
Members can redeem as few or as many points as they’d like towards nearly any Sun Country purchase, including flights, vacation packages, upgrades, preferred seats selection, and baggage fees. The redemption rate varies by season.
If I have an award ticket booked prior to May 29, 2016, can it be transferred?
Once an award ticket is issued it cannot be transferred to another person.
Where do I find the point redemption calendar?
Point redemption varies by peak and off peak periods. See peak and off peak periods. To calculate how many points are needed to redeem for a purchase, multiply the conversion rate of 110 x the price of the trip during ‘off peak periods’ or multiply the conversion rate of 130 x the price of the trip during ‘peak’ periods. By way of example: 33,000 points are needed to redeem for a $300 ticket (i.e. 110 points x $300) during an off peak period.
Does it cost anything to join Ufly Rewards?
No. Membership is voluntary, and strongly encouraged to earn award travel and receive other valuable benefits.
How does one enroll in Ufly Rewards?
Is enrollment available offline?
Yes. Paper enrollment brochures can be found onboard our aircraft or at the airport terminals where we fly. A paper enrollment form can also be requested at the address or fax number given above.
Is there a membership card?
Yes. Ufly Rewards members will receive their personalized membership card in the mail within four weeks of enrollment.
How are point statements received?
What if a member doesn't know his/her Ufly Rewards membership number?
Retrieve account number/information by calling a Ufly Rewards Specialist. If outside of Ufly Rewards business hours, call Sun Country Reservations.
Where can I view the points I earned for past travel?
When are Ufly Rewards points awarded?
Total points issued for one-way flights, round-trip flights, or flight and hotel packages are deposited after the first flight departs. The total amount deposited includes points for the complete transaction, including flight, flight and hotel, flight and car, or flight, hotel, and car rental reservations (when applicable).

Where are the Terms & Conditions for the Ufly Rewards program?
Once enough points have been earned to achieve ELITE status, when does that change go into effect?
Immediately. When a member earns 50,000 tier qualifying points within the qualifying period, status automatically changes to ELITE. An email will be sent notifying the member of the status change and a new ELITE membership card will be mailed within two weeks.
What is the qualifying period to earn ELITE status?
The qualifying period for ELITE status each year is January 1 through December 31.
How many points are needed to reach ELITE status?
A member who earns 50,000 tier-qualifying points in a calendar year will earn ELITE status.
What are the benefits of ELITE status?
Ufly Rewards ELITE members enjoy several perks such as priority check-in at the ticket counter, waived fees on two checked bags, free advanced seat selection, priority screening (where offered), priority boarding, complimentary First Class upgrades (space available, onboard upgrades are not eligible), dedicated Ufly ELITE support line, waived change fees, complimentary inflight digEplayer in Coach Class, complimentary beverage and snack item in Coach Class.
How long will an ELITE member have that status?
Members who earn Ufly ELITE status will enjoy that benefit for the remainder of the calendar year of the year it was earned plus 14 months thereafter, expiring on the last day of February. If ELITE status is earned again during the 12-month qualifying period previous to calendar year of expiration, then ELITE status will extend for an additional 14 months.
How do ELITE members take advantage of the benefit of priority check-in?
ELITE members should log in to their Ufly Rewards account and then begin the process of online check-in (if flying within the U.S.) OR proceed to the priority check-in lane at the airport and present their ELITE membership card at the ticket counter. Note: online check in is currently not available for International flights.
How do ELITE members take advantage of the benefit of two free bags?
ELITE members should log in to their Ufly Rewards account before booking or checking in. During the booking process, a zero fee will be reflected on the baggage page. Or, when checking in online (available if traveling within the U.S.), a zero fee will be reflected on the baggage page if not purchased online. An ELITE member’s waived bag fee benefit extends to travel companions on an ELITE member’s reservation when traveling on the same reservation as the ELITE member. At the airport, the ELITE member must present their ELITE membership card. Fees waived on up to two bags. Effective for bookings made on or after October 25, 2017, for travel on or after January 19, 2018, Ufly Rewards ELITE members receive two free bags — two checked bags or one checked bag and one carry-on. If carry-on space is full, second bag will be checked.
How do ELITE members take advantage of the benefit of free advanced seat selection?
ELITE members should log in to their Ufly Rewards account. Once logged in, ELITE members can select their seat when booking travel or when checking in online (if flying within the U.S.) a zero fee will be reflected for seats. They can also call the dedicated Ufly ELITE telephone number on the back of their member card.
How do ELITE members take advantage of the benefit of priority security screening?
Priority security screening at the airport, where available, is offered to ELITE members when the ELITE member presents their membership card.
How do ELITE members take advantage of the benefit of priority boarding?
ELITE members should present their ELITE membership card to the gate agent.
How do ELITE members take advantage of the benefit of complimentary class upgrades?
Elite members enjoy complimentary class upgrades when space is available. ELITE members should present their ELITE membership card to the gate agent. Onboard upgrades are not eligible.
What must ELITE members do to have their change fee waived?
ELITE members can call the Ufly ELITE telephone number on the back of their member card.
What is the phone number and hours of operation for the ELITE support line?
This information is located on the back of the ELITE membership card.
Which major holidays are the Ufly Rewards Specialists not available?
Ufly Rewards Specialists are not available on major holidays that fall on a weekday. Major holidays that may be affected are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Sun Country Reservations can help with general Ufly Rewards related questions and reservations. Reservations is open daily, 5am-midnight Central Standard Time.
How does one create a pool?
Creating a pool is easy — please call Ufly Rewards to create one.
Does it cost anything to be part of a pool?
No. Participation in a pool is optional. A Ufly Rewards member may join or exit a pool at any time.
Can a pool earn ELITE status?
No, a pool is not eligible for ELITE status. Only individual members may earn ELITE status.
How do Ufly Rewards members redeem points from a pool?
The pool administrator can redeem points from a pool at time of booking award travel.
How are points earned by a pool?
Members participating in a pool can elect to contribute to a pool at any time; however, online pooling is temporarily unavailable, so please call Ufly Rewards to create a pool.

How do members know who is in their pool?

Can members leave a pool?
Yes. Members may exit a pool at any time. However, the online pool feature is temporarily unavailable. Please call Ufly Rewards to verify the members of the pool. There is no cost or penalty for doing so.
Are all points eligible to be contributed to a pool?

How do members give points to a pool?
