Transportation
Transfers between the airport and resorts are included with Sun Country Vacations packages. For travel outside of your resort, the best way to get around is by taxi or bus. There is also a bicycle and walking path. A car is not recommended. In the Riviera Maya, distances are great between resorts and towns. If you do want to go into town, a taxi is your best option, or check with your hotel concierge. For a day trip, either sign up for a tour, or rent a car for the day. The main road from Cancun to the Riviera Maya is a modern, four-lane highway.
